The best way to "sell" to your e-mail list

Your greatest asset as an internet marketer is your list of paying customers. You should also have another list, a list of prospects who you hope to convert into customers. Selling to your main list of customers is difficult, and must be approached with care. Your main goal with this list is to keep your subscribers on it. If you can do this, a certain number of them are bound to purchase when you hit them with a really good offer. Your non buyers list is different. You can sell to this list in many different ways, but one of the sneakiest is to offer them yet another free gift, but this time one full of links. These can be links to your own sites, or affiliate links of proven selling products.

The freebie that you give away to do this must be of a high enough quality to convince a subscriber to read through to the end. You will need to give away some pretty good information, and then you can add in the links to products which will help the reader to carry out the instructions they have been given. If you can produce a free ebook which will act as a reference guide, so that the reader has to refer to it several times, so much the better. The more desirable the products you are linking to, especially in carrying out these instructions, the more sales you can expect to make.

A free ebook is not the only gift you can give to make this system work. You can send your list to a web page which is normally behind a password protected area, by giving them a password and link in your email. On the same page as the video series can be links to products mentioned in the video. If the products are desirable, and well demonstrated, it will be easy to imagine the viewer clicking on the link, and a percentage should buy. You can give freebies to your list, and still earn from them.
